Man Killed By SEPTA Train In Philadelphia

A man was struck and killed by a SEPTA train early Sunday, April 23 in Philadelphia, authorities said.

The accident happened around 5 a.m. on the northbound side of the subway tracks of the Snyder Station on the Broad Street Line, a SEPTA spokeswoman said.

Police, fire, and emergency medical crews immediately responded. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
